Namiki Urushi Vermillion Lacquer No.20 Fountain Pen

Urushi collection is the large fountain pen produced since the 1930s. It was named "No.50 Jumbo" amd ,amufactured under two brand names - PILOT & Dunhill-Namiki. These pens have the unique ink system like the originals. Roiro Urushi lacquer finish is attained by applying a layer of oilless Urushi lacquer over the uppermost lacquer coat. Then it is polished with special charcoal, and raw lacquer is arubbed in on top of that. It is then left to dryi, and after drying, it is burnished. This process is repeated several times to give a unique glossy luster.
